PRESS RELEASE

ICHOU Looking Forward To Yet Another Successful Conference

Barbados ---The Institute of Chartered Home Office Underwriters (ICHOU) is presently in the process of preparing for its biennial Caribbean Underwriting Conference to be held at the Hilton Tobago Golf and Spa Resort, May 5-8 in Trinidad and Tobago . ICHOU is a regional body formed to represent the interest of Caribbean Home Office Underwriters. It promotes professional and educational opportunities for the home office underwriters and affords opportunities for dialogue, consultation, and co-operation among members.

The theme of this year's conference is "Do You Know?" with the objective being to provide a forum for discussion and dialogue on topics such as "Fraud and Money Laundering - What is Required from the Underwriting Perspective" and "Mitral Valve Prolapse". Speakers include doctors from the Trinidad and Tobago Medical Board.

ICHOU 2004 was attended by over 80 underwriters from across the region primarily Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Bermuda, Bahamas, Jamaica, Haiti and Guyana .

ICHOU President Mr. Orwyn Sandiford stated that last conference 'was a resounding success, we saw an increase in the attendance of underwriters which led to a very exciting conference. We were also delighted at the calibre of speakers we were able to host, which lent itself to valuable information being shared with our regional professionals'.

Early registration for the conference ends May 5 th 2006 and special member fees and daily rates are available. All persons interested in attending this highly informative conference should contact the Insurance Association of the Caribbean (IAC), for further information or visit the IAC's Secretariat's website www.iac-caribbean.com
